Requirements

• We require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance, with willingness to undergo a CI polygraph.
• We require a bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
• We look for at least 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including design, development, and implementation.
• We need proficiency in at least one multiparadigm programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
• We expect experience extracting, transforming, visualizing, and analyzing large datasets.
• We require experience architecting and supporting cloud-based solutions, including AWS and C2S environments.
• We need experience building and maintaining applications in cloud computing environments.
• We require familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid settings.
• We expect strong Linux skills.
• We look for demonstrated ability to guide small engineering teams while also working independently and collaboratively.
• We need a strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and the ability to apply emerging technologies to mission challenges.
• We require familiarity with modern development toolchains, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Preferred: experience with NoSQL platforms such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB.
• Preferred: experience designing and implementing geospatial trajectory processing, forecasting, and visualization methods.

The base pay for the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $113,000 to $165,000 annually, with location-based variation for other states.
