Requirements
- We require U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance, with willingness to undergo a CI polygraph.
- We require a bachelors degree in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- We look for at least 5 years of hands-on software development experience, including design, development, and implementation.
- We need proficiency in at least one multiparadigm programming language such as Python, Java, Go, or Rust.
- We expect experience extracting, transforming, visualizing, and analyzing large datasets.
- We require experience architecting and supporting cloud-based solutions, including AWS and C2S environments.
- We need experience building and maintaining applications in cloud computing environments.
- We require familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes in cloud or hybrid settings.
- We expect strong Linux skills.
- We look for demonstrated ability to guide small engineering teams while also working independently and collaboratively.
- We need a strong problem-solving mindset, adaptability, and the ability to apply emerging technologies to mission challenges.
- We require familiarity with modern development toolchains, DevSecOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Preferred: experience with NoSQL platforms such as Elasticsearch or MongoDB.
- Preferred: experience designing and implementing geospatial trajectory processing, forecasting, and visualization methods.
- Preferred: experience developing, testing, and deploying AI/ML or computer vision models across varied data types.
- Preferred: ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
- We design and deliver efficient, adaptable solutions that can scale for mission-critical applications.
- We participate across the full development lifecycle, including planning, requirements definition, design, implementation, build, documentation, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- We apply software engineering standards and disciplined processes to produce high-quality, extensible, and maintainable solutions.
- We use cloud technologies to extract, manipulate, transform, and visualize geospatial and temporal datasets.
- We develop analytics and derivative data products that help users turn data into actionable knowledge.
- We troubleshoot issues proactively and solve problems with a practical, hands-on approach.
- We collaborate with diverse teams of engineers, clients, and end users.
- We support work across the full analytical workflow, including ELT and large-scale geospatial data enrichment.
- We explore innovative approaches and emerging AI/ML techniques to address complex customer challenges.

The base pay for the Washington, DC metropolitan area is $113,000 to $165,000 annually, with location-based variation for other states.
