Job summary

Heartland ABA is seeking part-time ABA assistants to deliver one-on-one services in clients’ homes or community settings around Overland Park, KS. You’ll implement evidence-based interventions and document progress as part of a clinical team.

No ABA experience is required—paid training is provided. This entry point offers flexible afternoon/evening hours, meaningful work with children, and opportunities to grow in the ABA field.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to learn and passion for helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients in homes or community settings.
• Implement skill-building and care plans as part of the clinical team.
• Accurately record session data using electronic devices.
• Create a positive learning environment and collaborate with families.
• Coordinate with BCBA supervisors to improve treatment effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.


• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.


• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.


• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.


• Collaborate with families and BCBA Supervisor(s) to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications:

Need to Know:

• Services will be provided in clients' homes or in community-based locations.


• All positions start off part‑time.


• Required to take the 40-hour Registered Behavior Technician course.


• Looking to hire candidates who are willing to make a 6-month commitment to change our clients lives.
