Job summary

EP!C in Peoria, IL seeks a dedicated ABA clinician to provide high-quality, person-centered Applied Behavior Analysis services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Qualifications

• A 4-year degree in psychology, human service, or related field is required.
• 1500 hours supervision under BCBA, Psychologist or related supervised work.
• +1 year's experience in ABA preferred.
• RBT or BCaBA certificate preferred.
• 1 year experience in social services and at least 1 year in a mental health program preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Knowledge of Medicaid preferred.
• Desire and ability to work under supervision and cooperatively within a team.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Support the agency’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plan philosophy
• Manage all responsibilities based on the agency's mission, using individual choice, and all appropriate policies, procedures, and regulations
• Conduct oneself in a way that reflects the highest standards of professional courtesy and ethical practices to people served, staff, guardians, families, and all outside contacts
• As a mandated reporter, ensure all allegations of abuse and neglect are reported as required.
• Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.
• Complete all mandatory documentation accurately, honestly, and on time, and or as set by departmental/agency protocol or procedures.
• Verify and ensure your payroll timecard is accurate by Monday before noon for the previous week worked.
• Complete all required training within 120 days of initial employment and stay in compliance with all required annual training refreshers.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, interventions, data analysis and progress notes, according to agency, program, or funding entities’ expectations
• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify the underlying causes of challenging behavior, with supervisor approval.
• Develop and implement individualized behavior support plans (BSPs) based on assessment findings, with supervisor approval.
• Provide ongoing support and training to DSP staff and other team members as needed.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, ISCs, interdisciplinary team and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive and consistent approach to behavior support.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of behavior intervention plans through observation, data collection and analysis.
• Adjust and modify intervention strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes at least twice per year, with supervisor approval.
• Achieve or exceed monthly direct service requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the overall treatment planning process.
• Meet regularly with supervisor, with frequency subject to change based on experience level and need of both clinician and supervisor.
• Attend meetings as directed
• Serve on committees/task forces as assigned
• Tasks directed by the supervisor

Summary

Provide high-quality, person-centered Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), implementing evidence-based behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The Level 2 ABA clinician supports skill development, behavior reduction, and increased independence across home, community, and/or clinical settings, while promoting dignity, inclusion, and meaningful outcomes aligned with each individual's goals.
