Qualifications

• PhD (or equivalent) in anthropology or a closely related academic field from an accredited institution.

• Record of research productivity - publications, presentations, grants, or community engaged research.
• Awareness of and sensitivity to diverse student populations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including general education courses.
• Initiate local, regional, or global projects that involve students.
• Provide academic advising for undergraduate students in Anthropology and Behavioral Science.
• Supervise and advise graduate students in applied anthropology and participate in graduate faculty.
• Maintain an active research agenda through publications, presentations, or community engaged research.
• Participate in shared governance and service assignments; teach within the Canvas LMS.
