We are seeking individuals with advanced expertise in Machine Learning (ML) to join our dynamic team.

As an Applied AI ML Lead within our Corporate Sector, you will play a pivotal role in developing machine learning and deep learning solutions, experimenting with state-of-the-art models, and contributing to innovative projects to shape the future of machine learning at AI Technologies. You will utilize your knowledge of ML tools and algorithms to deliver effective solutions. Collaborating closely with product owners, data engineers, and software engineers, you will build and productionize new AI/ML solutions. Additionally, you will mentor other AI engineers and scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence. We seek passionate individuals with a strong background in data, ML, and programming, capable of building scalable ML solutions with a hands-on approach and detailed technical expertise.

Job Responsibilities

1. Serve as a subject matter expert on a wide range of ML techniques and optimizations.
2. Provide in-depth knowledge of ML algorithms, frameworks, and techniques.
3. Enhance ML workflows through advanced proficiency in large language models (LLMs) and related techniques.
4. Conduct experiments using the latest ML technologies, analyze results, and tune models.
5. Implement experimental results into production solutions by coding in Python, collaborating with engineering teams. Own end-to-end code development for proof of concept, experimentation, and production-ready solutions.
6. Optimize system accuracy and performance by identifying and resolving inefficiencies and bottlenecks, working with product and engineering teams to deliver tailored, science-driven solutions.
7. Integrate Generative AI within the ML Platform using state-of-the-art techniques.
8. Drive decisions influencing product design, application functionality, and technical operations.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• MS and/or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related field, with at least 5 years of applied ML experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in programming languages such as Python (intermediate level required), Java, or C/C++.
• Proven experience applying data science and ML techniques to solve business problems.
• Solid background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Expertise in advanced ML areas such as GPU optimization, finetuning, embedding models, inferencing, prompt engineering, and RAG (Similarity Search).
• Ability to independently manage tasks and projects from start to finish.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated leadership in collaborating with engineers, product managers, and ML practitioners.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

• Experience with Ray, MLFlow, or other distributed training frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Search/Ranking, Recommender systems, Graph techniques, and other advanced methodologies.
• Knowledge in Reinforcement Learning or Meta Learning.
• Expertise in Large Language Model (LLM) techniques, including Agents, Planning, and Reasoning.
• Experience deploying ML models on cloud platforms such as AWS, Sagemaker, EKS, etc.
