SpaceX is seeking an Applications Software Engineer, Applied AI, to design, deploy, and integrate modern AI systems across mission-critical SpaceX software. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI capabilities, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Operations to deliver production-ready AI products.

Aerospace experience is not required; we value smart, collaborative engineers who solve hard problems and move SpaceX toward ambitious goals at a rapid pace.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or 2+ years of professional software engineering experience
• 1+ years of experience in full stack development

Responsabilidades

• Develop highly reliable software solutions across SpaceX, including AI-powered applications
• Create applications using large language models, agentic systems, and AI capabilities
• Own the full lifecycle of Applied AI systems from prototype to production
• Diagnose users’ problems to identify high-leverage AI opportunities
• Architect production systems for agentic workflows with reliability and safety in mind
• Build evaluation frameworks and observability for AI quality, safety, latency, cost
• Stay at the frontier of LLM techniques and integrate best practices into production
