Job summary

QuantCo is seeking an Applied Scientist, AI/ML to bridge advances in AI with rigorous economic and quantitative thinking. You will lead model development and experimentation from framing to production, tackling high-stakes decisions across industries.

You’ll work on pricing, claims, underwriting, and health forecasting, combining predictive modeling with causal inference and multimodal data. The role emphasizes autonomy, learning, and real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in at least one area such as ML, statistics, econometrics, or causal inference.
• Strong command of the mathematical and statistical foundations behind ML, statistical inference, and experimental design.
• Fluency in Python and its data and ML ecosystem.
• A degree in computer science, economics, statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, or a related quantitative field.
