Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a world-class engineer to drive applied research at the intersection of AI and ASIC design in Santa Clara, CA. You will apply LLMs and agentic systems to core ASIC challenges, build robust evaluation pipelines, and push models from prototype to production, closely collaborating with NVIDIA's Nemotron team to improve models with domain data.

You will work on infrastructure like Docker, Slurm, CI/CD, and contribute to fast, production-ready AI tooling for chip design.

Qualifications

• MS or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 8+ years of proven industry experience.
• Front-end ASIC design/verification experience with agentic AI in chip design and optimization.
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based agents or AI tooling used by real users.
• Experience with custom model training, fine-tuning, or post-training (SFT, RLHF/DPO).
• Excellent self-motivation, creativity, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Apply LLMs and agentic systems to core ASIC design problems.
• Build data generation and evaluation pipelines for production ML systems.
• Integrate coding agents into EDA and validation flows to speed ramp.
• Prototype to production with open-source foundations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve models with domain data.
