Job summary

NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group seeks an Applied AI Engineer to design, build, and integrate AI solutions into our design and automation infrastructure that powers our chips. You will contribute to post-silicon workflows and silicon Bring-Up with data-driven improvements.

You will lead LLM-powered validation pipelines, collaborate across teams, evaluate new AI frameworks, and measure impact with clear metrics.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD or equivalent experience in CS, EE, CE, or related field; 5+ years ML/AI systems or data-intensive backend experience.
• 2+ years of direct Applied AI experience owning an AI agent or LLM-powered workflow end-to-end.
• Strong Python skills and proficiency in at least one static language (C, C++, C#, Java, Scala).
• Experience in silicon development environments, characterization methodologies, timing/power analysis.
• Hands-on silicon bring-up, lab debugging tools (oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers).
• Solid EE fundamentals including computer architecture and high-speed interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LLM-powered validation pipelines for faster, smarter validation across semiconductor environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify AI-driven improvements and implement scalable solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and architectures and advocate for adoption.
• Build data systems to measure AI impact and drive iterative improvements across organizations.
