Job summary

NVIDIA's Silicon Co-Design Group is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to innovate, develop, and integrate AI solutions into our design and automation infrastructure powering chip production. You will architect scalable AI-enabled workflows, advancing validation and silicon bring-up across multiple generations of products.

The role requires 5+ years building ML/AI systems, 2+ years owning AI agents end-to-end, and strong Python with C/C++.

Qualifications

• BS, MS, or PhD (or equivalent) in CS, EE, CE or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on ML/AI systems or data-intensive backend experience.
• 2+ years direct Applied AI ownership of an AI agent, LLM-powered workflow, or autonomous automation.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy LLM-powered validation pipelines across semiconductor environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into design and automation toolchains.
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and architectures and advocate for adoption.
• Build data systems to measure AI impact and drive continuous improvement.
