Job summary

SOCOTEC is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI models that enhance our chatbot program and other AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to integrate advanced AI technologies addressing real-world challenges in our industry.

Focus on building scalable ML pipelines, optimizing model performance, and ensuring reliability by following best practices.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face).
• Strong understanding of NLP and experience building chatbot/conversational AI systems.
• Hands-on experience with AI model development, including data preprocessing, training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools and cloud platforms (e.g., Jupyter, AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience with version control (Git) and agile development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models for chatbot and enterprise systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to translate requirements into AI solutions.
• Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines from data preprocessing to deployment.
• Fine-tune models to improve accuracy, speed, and robustness.
• Integrate AI solutions into production environments using LangChain and cloud services.
• Document AI workflows, models, and algorithms.
