Job summary

Allied Telesis in the Bay Area seeks an AI Software Engineer to develop AI-powered capabilities across our product portfolio, focusing on applied AI in networking infrastructure. You will join a small, forward-thinking research group and contribute to agentic workflows.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of software development experience, strong Python skills, and hands-on exposure to LLM APIs, vector stores, or RAG patterns. MCP experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of software development experience.
• Strong Python fundamentals and familiarity with AI/ML tooling (LLM APIs, vector stores, RAG, agent frameworks).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to building and maintaining agentic AI workflows using LangGraph, designing and extending our MCP server library.
• Improve the RAG pipelines that power our knowledge-retrieval systems, mainly in Python.
• Collaborate with a small team where your ideas carry weight and are visible.
