Job summary

MANTECH seeks a motivated Applied AI Engineer to join our team in Doral, FL. Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models to solve complex operational challenges across mission networks.

You will orchestrate AI/ML pipelines, collaborate with cross-functional technical teams, and optimize models across cloud, on‑prem, and edge environments while maintaining documentation and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in advanced analytics or data science.
• Or Master’s degree with 3+ years experience.
• Or PhD with 1+ year experience.
• Or Associate’s degree with 7+ years experience.
• Or High school diploma with 9+ years experience.
• Proven experience deploying ML models using PyTorch or TensorFlow; strong software development background.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML models to solve complex operational challenges.
• Orchestrate AI/ML pipelines, integrating data streams, and automating training/evaluation workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define AI architecture standards and integration baselines.
• Evaluate and optimize models across cloud, on-prem, and edge computing environments.
• Maintain technical baseline configurations and engineering documentation for AI systems.
• Evaluate emerging AI frameworks and tooling to drive improvements.
