Product Pulse is seeking a world-class Applied AI Engineer in San Francisco. This role involves designing and implementing AI systems for hardware engineering. The ideal candidate will build critical product development workflows and be among the first technical hires, having a direct impact on the company's operations.

Requirements include a degree in Computer Science or Machine Learning, strong programming skills in ML libraries, and experience in production ML systems. The company offers unlimited PTO and full health insurance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or equivalent experience.
• Strong familiarity with LLM architectures and agent research trends.
• Excellent programming skills with experience using ML libraries such as PyTorch, Hugging Face, and W&B.
• Experience building production ML or AI systems.
• Solid practical experience with search and information retrieval.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core workflows and infrastructure for hardware engineering agents.
• Build agents and ML models that integrate with enterprise-grade engineering tools.
• Work closely with customers to deliver reliable AI-powered workflows.
• Prototype rapidly and validate ideas with real users.
• Influence engineering culture and architecture decisions.

Skills

Programming with ML libraries (PyTorch, Hugging Face)

Familiarity with LLM architectures
