Job summary

Mistral AI invites an Applied AI Engineer to drive customer adoption of our GenAI products. You will guide customers from pre-sale to post-implementation, ensuring successful deployment of AI solutions that meet client goals and integrate with back-end and front-end systems.

You will work with researchers, AI engineers, and product teams to deploy state-of-the-art models and contribute to production-scale applications across diverse industries.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master in AI or data science.
• 2+ years as an IC on AI-based products.
• Experience in fine-tuning LLMs.
• Strong fundamentals in ML and LLM concepts.
• Proficiency in Python and PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Onboard customers to products and APIs, guiding prompting, evaluation, and integration.
• Work on GenAI applications from consumer to industrial use cases.
• Deploy production use cases with significant business impact.
• Collaborate with researchers and engineers on complex customer projects, including fine-tuning and inference tasks.
• Participate in pre-sales calls to understand client needs and explain Mistral technologies to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product and science teams to improve product and model capabilities.
