Job summary

Linktree is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to turn frontier model capabilities into usable, trustworthy experiences for creators and brands. You’ll build AI agents and AI-powered experiences across the product, design, data, and platform teams.

This role moves from concept to prototype to production with a focus on evaluation, observability, safeguards, and strong product judgment. It’s a build-and-ship role, not pure research.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping production AI features end-to-end.
• Hands-on with LLM-powered products, agents, or AI experiences.
• Strong product sense and ability to trade off scope and quality.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship creator- and visitor-facing AI experiences end-to-end.
• Design multi-agent workflows combining prompting, tools, retrieval, memory, and controls.
• Create eval suites and metrics to improve AI quality deliberately.
• Collaborate with product, design, data and trust teams to map user problems to high-value solutions.
• Optimize latency, reliability, cost and safety for scale.
