Apple Ads (Data Insights) in Austin, Texas, onsite, is seeking an Applied AI Engineer to build AI-powered analytics and decision-support systems. You will develop an agent platform that connects LLMs to Apple’s internal data infrastructure and tools, focusing on orchestration, retrieval, evaluation, and production reliability.

You’ll join a cross-functional team to turn domain expertise into reusable AI capabilities, design evaluation frameworks, and monitor systems to ensure accuracy,

Formación

• Experience architecting and scaling production AI agent platforms.
• Experience developing LLM evaluation frameworks and observability systems.
• Experience with advanced retrieval techniques and embeddings.
• Experience building NLP-to-SQL systems or AI-powered decision-support platforms.
• Strong Python programming and software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with agentic workflows, tool calling, or RAG.
• Experience with large-scale data platforms or distributed data systems.

Responsabilidades

• Design and build scalable AI agent systems that connect LLMs with data infrastructure and tools.
• Advance agent orchestration, including tool calling and context management.
• Develop reusable platform components for AI-powered workflows.
• Build evaluation frameworks and monitoring systems for observability and reliability.
• Define online/offline metrics to improve retrieval quality and traceability.
• Develop AI-native solutions from concept to production with scalability in mind.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders
