Job summary

DLA Piper is seeking a Data Scientist, Applied AI Solutions to drive data-driven outcomes for clients and the firm. You will design models, perform analyses, and translate complex requirements into practical analytic approaches. The role involves collaboration with lawyers, clients, and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience applying data science and ML techniques to complex business problems.
Experience building and deploying production ML models at scale.
Ability to translate legal, regulatory and business requirements into analytic objectives.

Responsibilities

Develops and applies algorithmic testing methods to evaluate AI systems and models.
Designs testing metrics, benchmarks, and evaluation frameworks for AI risks.
Translate requirements into analytic objectives, data specs, and technical solutions.
Collaborate with lawyers, clients, and cross-functional teams to address needs.
Lead multiple data science projects with accountability for delivery and outcomes.
Build, deploy, and maintain production ML models and data pipelines at scale.
