DLA Piper is seeking a Data Scientist for Applied AI Solutions to design, test, and deploy data models and ML solutions that improve client outcomes. You will collaborate with lawyers, clients, and cross-functional teams to translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable analytics and testing methodologies.

The role emphasizes creating testing frameworks for AI risks, bias, and performance, with hands-on coding in Python and SQL, and work across Azure or comparable cloud

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, statistics, applied mathematics or related field.
• 5 years of relevant experience applying data science and machine learning techniques, including building and deploying production models.
• Experience with Python and SQL for data pipelines, testing, and analyses.
• Proven ability to translate legal, regulatory, and business requirements into analytic objectives and solutions.
• Experience delivering data science solutions within legal, eDiscovery, investigations, or regulatory compliance environments.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and applies algorithmic testing methods to evaluate AI systems, models, and tools for bias, accuracy, reliability, robustness, and performance.
• Creates novel testing techniques, metrics, and evaluation frameworks for emerging AI systems and risks when established methods are insufficient.
• Translates legal, regulatory, and business requirements into analytic objectives, testable criteria, data specifications, and practical technical solutions.
• Works with stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage data for business, legal, investigative, and regulatory needs.
• Designs, builds, deploys, and supports production ML models and data science solutions at scale.
