Job summary

AM General is seeking a qualified IT professional in Auburn Hills, MI to develop and support Power Platform solutions, BI tools, and analytics platforms. The role includes training business users, managing SharePoint environments, and supporting Incorta analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a Bachelor’s degree in IT, strong Office 365 skills, and experience with data analytics, Power Platform, and AI/Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 is required.
• Skills in Power Platform, data analytics and AI/Python preferred.
• Ability to interface with business partners and provide support and training.
• Ability to work with all staff levels to ensure proper communication of project status.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to plant sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Power Platform development and support, including Power BI and Power Automate.
• Provide SharePoint site, list, and workflow administration, including customization, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Provide Incorta Data & Analytics platform support.
• AI/Python skilled resource to support AI initiative, including Claude-based scenario planning.
• Provide training to business users to effectively utilize applications to improve process efficiency.
• Identify issues and risks and recommend steps for escalation, prioritization, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure that all development software has been fully tested and documented before production deployment.
• Support deployment activities through development testing, training, and production environments.
• Utilize the IFS IT Service Management platform for Incident Management and Request Fulfillment.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide Power Platform development and support, including Power BI and Power Automate
