Job description

As a Applications Spray Technician, Weekend Shift, you will work within a Painting Process Laboratory using Paint Application Equipment and Automation tools. Your responsibilities include ensuring the safe operation of spray equipment and chemical handling, maintaining the lab and equipment according to 5S/Quality Standards, and leading customer workflow to meet timelines and deliverables. You will report to an Application Team Supervisor and work onsite in Cleveland, OH. The shift is Friday to Monday, from 7 am to 5:30 pm, with possible variations in training schedules.

NO prior experience necessary / paid training / physically demanding position

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Analyze and set equipment parameters based on standard documentation.
  2. Operate equipment using computers, capture process settings, and record results.
  3. Understand, record, and communicate detailed information accurately.
  4. Spray and test samples of paint from production and development.
  5. Execute spray experiments using robotic equipment.
  6. Follow all safety protocols and complete safety training.
  7. Maintain cleanliness of the lab and perform scheduled 5S tasks daily, weekly, and monthly.
  8. Enter data into the application log.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or GED required; knowledge of chemistry and algebra preferred; some college chemistry and math desirable.
  2. Ability to understand, record, and verbalize detailed information accurately; must be observant and precise.
  3. Ability to handle a physically demanding position.
  4. Digitally literate.
