Job summary

Community Renewal Team Inc in Hartford, CT is seeking a software developer to design, develop and support applications using Python, .NET, SQL, PowerApps, Smartsheet, and PowerBI.

You will work with end users to define requirements, build reports, and provide training and support for Tableau, Crystal Reports and Salesforce reporting. The team collaborates across IT to deliver solutions that improve agency performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology or related field.
• Three or more years of experience with major database platforms such as SQL, Oracle or DB2.

Responsibilities

• Work with end customers to define requirements to meet specific objectives.
• Analyze requirements to determine various options to meet end objectives.
• Develop applications, reports and online data collection and reporting tools using SaaS including PowerApps, Python, Smartsheet, and the Microsoft Office 365 Platform (including PowerBI).
• Provide primary and secondary support and training for report writing tools (Tableau, Crystal Reports, PowerBI, and Salesforce reporting).
• Support internal and external Salesforce customers.
• Assist to research, specify, and implement various software systems in support of CRT Departments.
• Maintain application/report requests and necessary documentation.
