Job summary

Tamayo Federal Solutions is seeking an Applications Programmer II to support the modernization of mission-critical applications. The role focuses on building and supporting a production application using C#, .NET, Blazor, and Razor components, with a transition toward SAP ABAP development.

You will work across .NET/Blazor and SAP environments, participate in Agile delivery, and contribute to documentation and testing to ensure secure, maintainable software aligned with mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least three years of relevant software-development experience.
• Proficiency with C#, .NET, Blazor, Razor components, and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience with SQL, relational databases, Entity Framework Core, and REST APIs.
• Experience with source control, debugging, automated testing, and technical documentation.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming and secure coding practices.
• Ability and willingness to learn SAP ABAP and enterprise SAP development.
• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

Your Mission

TFS is seeking an Applications Programmer II to support the modernization of mission-critical applications. This role will initially focus on building and supporting a production application using C#, .NET, Blazor, and Razor components. Over time, the position will transition into SAP ABAP development and integration responsibilities.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will develop, maintain, test, and sustain secure production applications while supporting modernization efforts across .NET/Blazor and SAP environments. You will collaborate with technical teams, participate in Agile delivery activities, document technical work, and progressively assume SAP ABAP development assignments as project needs evolve.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

At least three years of relevant software-development experience.

Proficiency with C#, .NET, Blazor, Razor components, and ASP.NET Core.

Experience with SQL, relational databases, Entity Framework Core, and REST APIs.

Experience with source control, debugging, automated testing, and technical documentation.

Understanding of object-oriented programming and secure coding practices.

Ability and willingness to learn SAP ABAP and enterprise SAP development.

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience deploying and supporting production Blazor applications.

Experience with automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.

Exposure to SAP ABAP, S/4HANA, SAP integrations, CDS views, OData, or Fiori.

Experience integrating external applications with SAP.

Experience supporting DoD, Navy, maintenance, logistics, or shipyard systems.

Familiarity with Agile or SAFe delivery practices.
