Job summary

ICU Medical is seeking an Applications Programmer - EDI/Oracle to develop, deploy, and support Oracle Applications and EDI integrations across GL, AP, AR, OM, WIP, INV, PO. This role interfaces with Business Analysts to translate requirements into scalable solutions and automate reports and forms.

Remote role with potential travel; 5+ years in Oracle EBS/EDI, PL/SQL, and Sterling B2B Integrator required. Knowledge of AS2, SFTP, and 3PL EDI preferred; able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative

Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle EBS GL, AP, AR, OM, INV, PO modules.
• 5+ years of Oracle Reports, Forms, Workflow Builder, Discoverer, PL/SQL, Shell Scripts and XML Publisher.
• 5+ years IBM Sterling B2B Integrator development and administration.
• 2+ years with E-Commerce gateway/Oracle E-Business Suite (ERP).
• Hands-on experience with ANSI X12, CSV, XML, and EDIFACT 850/855/810/856.
• R12 experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Oracle E-Business Suite with EDI using Sterling BPML, Map Editor and Transformation Extender.
• Develop and maintain Oracle Reports, Forms, and PL/SQL for ERP modules.
• Support Oracle Applications Production environment (12i).

Job Description: The Applications Programmer - EDI/Oracle is responsible for assisting with the development, deployment, maintenance, and customization of various Oracle Applications and EDI integrations including General Ledger, Payables, Receivables, Order Management, Work in Process, Inventory, Purchasing and FA. This position will interface with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and develop solutions, test and deploy. This position will also work with the business on any technical development requirements such as reports and forms.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Proficiency in integrating Oracle e-business suite with EDI (IBM SI B2b) tool
• Working knowledge of the 3PL EDI integration with Oracle (850/810/940/945)
• Analyze project requirements and determine technical approach and programming required
• Support Oracle Applications Production environment (12i)
• Moderate to advanced proficiency in PL/SQL programming
• Demonstrate technical knowledge (RICE components) in EBS O2C and P2P cycles
• Troubleshoot, refactor, and enhance code to meet evolving business requirements
• Support business needs for system processing and availability
• Participate in 24/7 department on-call program
• Support day-to-day issues around integration touchpoints
• Create process flows, high-level functional and detailed technical design specifications from business requirements

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep expertise in Sterling B2B Integrator Business Process Development (BPML), Mapping using Map Editor and Transformation Extender
• Strong understanding of EDI concepts and delivery mechanisms like AS2, VAN, SFTP, HTTPS, and other protocols
• Proficient in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for development and support of Oracle EBS applications
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent collaboration skills and able to work in a team environment
• Able to work quickly and effectively under pressure and to efficiently handle multiple priorities simultaneously
• Practical experience with Oracle EBS - finance and supply chain modules preferred

Minimum Qualifications, Education & Experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Reports, Forms, Workflow Builder, Discoverer, PL/SQL, Shell Scripts and XML Publisher (GL/AP/AR/OM/INV/PO)
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Sterling B2B Integrator development and administration
• 2+; years of experience with E-Commerce gateway/Oracle E-Business Suite (ERP)
• Hands-on experience with ANSI X12, CSV, XML, and EDIFACT standards related to 850/855/810/856
• R12 experience is required

Work Environment

• This is largely a sedentary role.
• This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
• Typically requires travel less than 5% of the time.
