Cleanwater1, Inc. is seeking an Applications Engineering Manager in Milpitas, CA to lead a team of engineers and provide hands-on design support for chemical feed and mixing equipment.

You will develop proposals, manage workloads, and coordinate resources to meet customer specifications and sales goals. The role demands strong communication, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and 3–5 years of engineering leadership in a related field.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in mechanical, civil, chemical or environmental engineering or related degree.
• Three to five years of engineering experience in a technical role.
• Two to five years as a supervisor or manager.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent technical writing and strong verbal communication skills.
• 2D CAD design experience (AutoCAD or SolidWorks).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of applications engineers.
• Provide design support to Sales and Engineering.
• Develop proposals, including design basis, specs, drawings, and pricing.
• Prepare detailed material and labor cost estimates.
• Coordinate staffing and resource planning to support sales demand.
• Drive consistency in engineering processes and standards.
