• Support demonstrations of Hexagon's measurement and manufacturing software to prospective customers.
• Assist with technical evaluations, product testing, and configuration of applications.
• Troubleshoot customer issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Contribute to preparing training materials, documentation, and technical presentations.
• Shadow engineers in customer engagements to learn how solutions are tailored to industry needs.
• Participate in cross-functional projects bridging R&D, product management, and customer support.
• Learn industry best practices in CAD/CAM, simulation, and data analysis.

Hexagon's Manufacturing Intelligence division is seeking Application Engineer Interns for Summer 2027. This internship is designed for students pursuing a degree in engineering who expect to graduate in December 2027 or May/June 2028. Successful interns will gain hands‑on experience in technical customer support, software applications, and product demonstrations, with the opportunity to transition into a full‑time Application Engineer role after graduation.

Work Environment

• On‑site role with primary work at one of the following offices: Wilmington, DE
• Primarily office‑based with opportunities to visit customers or demo sites.
• Regular use of computer equipment; occasional movement around labs or factory floor.
• May involve light lifting (up to 15 lbs) of equipment or demonstration tools.
• Team‑oriented environment with collaborative problem‑solving and technical engagement.
