Job description

AGV, Technology Options & Advanced Material Movement Solutions

Help Shape the Future of Material Movement

At MasterMover Inc., we are transforming how manufacturers, logistics operations and industrial facilities move materials through innovative AGV technology, advanced material movement solutions and specialist technology platforms. Based in Charlotte, NC, our North American business focuses on helping customers improve safety, productivity, and operational efficiency through smarter material movement.

As our business continues to expand, we're looking for an experienced Applications Engineer to become one of our leading technical specialists, helping customers evaluate, experience, and successfully adopt our growing portfolio of technologies.

This is not a desk-based engineering role.

This is a highly visible, customer-facing position where you'll spend time in factories, warehouses and distribution facilities, working directly with customers, demonstrating technology, validating applications and supporting successful implementation.

If you enjoy solving real-world problems, working with innovative technology and seeing first-hand how your work helps customers improve their operations, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Working With

You'll support customer evaluations, demonstrations and implementation activities across:

  • AGV solutions
  • Technology Options
  • Multi-Link applications
  • Advanced material movement technologies
  • Emerging automation solutions
  • Future product introductions

This role offers the opportunity to become one of MasterMover's leading field application specialists, helping customers solve complex material movement challenges with some of the industry's most innovative technologies.

What You'll Do

Customer Evaluations & Application Validation

  • Conduct customer site evaluations and operational assessments.
  • Understand material movement challenges and application requirements.
  • Assess the suitability of MasterMover technologies for customer operations.
  • Identify operational considerations, constraints and implementation requirements.
  • Produce clear, decision-ready application assessments.

Demonstrations & Proof of Concept Activities

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging customer demonstrations.
  • Conduct AGV and Technology Options trials in real operating environments.
  • Demonstrate the value of automation, safety and productivity improvements.
  • Gather customer feedback and performance observations.
  • Document outcomes and recommended next steps.

Implementation & Adoption Support

  • Support commissioning and route validation activities.
  • Assist with site acceptance and customer handover.
  • Deliver operator familiarisation and product training.
  • Help customers successfully adopt new technologies within their operations.
  • Act as a trusted technical resource throughout the customer journey.
  • Develop deep expertise across AGVs, Technology Options and advanced material movement solutions.
  • Support new product launches and introduction activities.
  • Provide valuable customer and market feedback to internal teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of products, training and best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • Practical AGV experience.
  • Experience supporting automation, robotics, intralogistics or material handling applications.
  • Customer-facing technical experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Mechanical and technical problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to work independently in customer environments.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.
  • A passion for technology and customer success.

Highly Desirable

  • AGV or AMR deployment experience.
  • Manufacturing, warehousing or logistics experience.
  • Experience training customers or end users.
  • Experience supporting technology adoption programmes.

Why Join MasterMover?

Work With Industry-Leading Technology

From AGVs and Multi-Link applications to future Technology Options and advanced material movement solutions, you'll be at the forefront of innovation in industrial material handling.

You'll be the person helping customers experience technology in real-world environments and demonstrating how automation can transform their operations.

As our product portfolio continues to evolve, you'll develop expertise across AGVs, automation, advanced vehicle technologies and emerging product platforms.

Work directly with leading manufacturers, logistics providers and industrial businesses throughout the region.

Be Part of a Growing Business

Join a company investing in innovation, customer success and the future of material movement across North America. The business operates from Charlotte, NC and continues to expand its technology capabilities and customer reach.

  • Successful implementation and site acceptance
