Job summary

Zeeco is seeking an Applications Engineer to be based in Houston or Tulsa, focusing on installation of equipment and collaborating with EPC teams. The role involves travel to customer sites and coordinating with subcontractors to finalize installation plans and quotations.

Applicants should have a BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical or related) and experience in oil & gas or petrochemical projects. Strong MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, Chemical or related field).
• Preferred Construction Management or EPC experience is a plus.
• Experience with oil & gas, petrochemicals, or related industries is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes and interprets customer inquiries to develop scope of work and installation plan.
• Travels to customers' facilities for site support and data needed for reviews and proposals.
• Assists with technical development and risk assessment of inquiries.
• Coordinates with subcontractors to estimate costs and determine which portions are in-house.
• Develops overall budget according to established guidelines.
• Documents needed for quotation and coordinates their completion.
• Writes, edits, and issues formal quotations to customer.
• Provides status reports to management on proposal status and activities.
• Supports turnover to project execution team with technical or commercial guidance.
• Identifies skills and tools needed to continue improving performance.
