Unknown company in Oxfordshire is seeking an Applications Engineer (Design for Manufacture) to drive the development of world-class products. You will project-manage customer-specific amendments and work closely with production to ensure seamless integration from concept to delivery.

Ideal candidates will have a degree with at least five years in a similar role, expertise in automotive/marine/aerospace manufacturing, and strong NX CAD skills for creating and issuing technical drawings.

Qualificações

• Degree (Bachelors or higher) with 5+ years in Applications Engineer or similar.
• Experience in automotive, marine or aerospace manufacturing environments.
• Advanced skills in 3D CAD (NX preferred) with ability to create/issue drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with innovative solutions.
• Experience with mechanical systems and fabricated components.
• Knowledge of GRP/CFRP tooling and moulded components is an advantage.
• Understanding of fluid circuits or electrical systems is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Project manage customer-specific amendments to existing designs.
• Conduct customer integration studies.
• Manage budgets and BOMs for each project.
• Certify designs with regulatory bodies.
• Provide technical support to production and sales.
• Liaise with component suppliers on technical matters.
• Produce and manage technical assembly/manufacturing drawings.
• Assist build and test of projects from brief to delivery.
