Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Applications Engineer to design and propose custom automation solutions for manufacturing customers. You will work closely with sales and engineering teams to translate customer needs into conceptual designs and cost estimates.

You will deliver technical proposals and participate in the full lifecycle from concept to production, collaborating across mechanical, electrical, controls, and manufacturing engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience in Applications Engineering, mechanical design, project engineering, or automation engineering.
• Experience designing custom automation equipment and understanding manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop custom automation concepts based on customer requirements.
• Create layouts and drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and conceptual designs.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and vendors during quoting process.
• Travel to customer sites to gather requirements and support business development.
• Deliver technical presentations to customers and engineering teams.
