Job summary

Fs Compression in Houston is seeking an Applications Engineer to assist in the design, testing and prototyping of software applications used across our customer base. The role includes deploying tested applications and providing support to users.

You will train users, resolve technical issues, and collaborate with Sales/Marketing and Engineering to ensure robust deployment. A BA/related degree and strong communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Experience with designing, testing, prototyping applications is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Defines budget for each project based on requirements and material costs.
Defines and implements product specifications to create user-friendly applications.
Performs application testing and resolves issues before deployment.
Instructs sales team or end users on specifications and features of applications.
Writes user manuals and installation/troubleshooting guides.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
