Goodwin Recruiting seeks a seasoned Application Engineer to support North America and Mexico with electro-mechanical products. This bilingual role values independent thinking, teamwork, and work-life balance in a stable, growing company based in Wisconsin.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred), 5+ years in manufacturing, and strong English/Spanish communication. You will respond to inquiries, quote customized products, and travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required (Mechanical or Electrical preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Fluency and strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Experience with electro-mechanical products.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and phone regarding product selection, application support, and problem resolution.
• Provide technical support for internal and external customers, including our subsidiary in Mexico.
• Quote custom engineered products based on core device offerings.
• Travel to customer sites to inspect applications and address installation issues.
• Assist in certification and new product development projects as needed.
• Monitor the engineering department's inbox to ensure timely support.

Application Engineer Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical preferred
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Fluency and strong communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Experience with electro-mechanical products
• Familiarity with National Electric Code and UL test standards
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Effective communication and writing skills
• Ability to excel both independently and as part of a team
