Nbutexas in Wisconsin is seeking a bilingual Application Engineer to support customers across North America and Mexico with electro‑mechanical products. You’ll respond to inquiries, quote solutions, and travel to sites as needed.

The role emphasizes independent thinking, teamwork, and work‑life balance. Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred) and 5+ years in an industrial setting, fluent English and Spanish, and knowledge of NEC/UL standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mechanical or electrical preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Fluent in English and Spanish with strong communication.
• Experience with electro-mechanical products.
• Familiarity with NEC and UL test standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries via email/phone regarding product selection and support.
• Provide technical support to customers, including our Mexico subsidiary.
• Quote custom engineered products based on core offerings.
• Travel to customer sites to inspect applications and address issues.
• Assist in certification and new product development projects.

Application Engineer Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Mechanical or Electrical preferred
• 5+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Fluency and strong communication skills in both English and Spanish
• Experience with electro-mechanical products
• Familiarity with National Electric Code and UL test standards
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
• Effective communication and writing skillsAbility to excel both independently and as part of a team

Application Engineer Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via email and phone regarding product selection, application support, and problem resolution
• Provide technical support for internal and external customers, including our subsidiary in Mexico
• Quote custom engineered products based on core device offerings
• Travel to customer sites to inspect applications and address installation issues
• Assist in certification and new product development projects as needed
• Monitor the engineering department’s inbox to ensure timely support
