Job summary

Hydro-Gear, a world leader in precision drive solutions, seeks an Applications Engineer for on-site work in Sullivan, IL. You will collaborate with a Customer Account Manager to build positive customer relationships and deliver technical guidance for direct turf OEM customers.

Responsibilities include supporting vehicle development, applying hydraulic and electric products, coordinating on-site visits, and providing ongoing technical support.

Qualifications

• College degree in related technical, electrical, mechanical engineering field is preferred
• Minimum 3 years of customer-facing experience
• Strong technical hands-on aptitude
• Great communicator, both written and oral
• Willingness to work in an account team collaboration environment with scheduled travel up to 50%
• Minimum 5 years of customer-facing experience

Responsibilities

• Work in a team collaboration environment with a Customer Account Manager to build and maintain positive customer relationships
• Provide technical support, guidance, and solutions for our direct turf OEM customers and Hydro-Gear
• Participate in vehicle development projects and assure the proper application of our hydraulic and electric products for the direct turf OEM market segment
• Provide ongoing technical support to our direct turf OEM customers in the development, maintenance, and service of the application
• Schedule on site visits with direct turf OEM accounts to discuss new development projects, current production applications, field service and warranty support
