Cincinnati Test Systems designs and manufactures custom automated test equipment and systems to support customers across diverse industries. As an Applications Engineer, you will collaborate with the sales team to translate requirements into practical technical solutions and compelling proposals.

You will meet with customers to capture needs, prepare system concepts, quotes, and bills of materials, and coordinate with engineering and operations to ensure feasibility.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related field) or equivalent experience.
• Understanding of automation systems, controls, pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, estimates, or engineered system solutions.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and develop practical technical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized and detail‑oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Proficiency with standard business software applications.
• Project management or customer‑facing engineering experience preferred.

Applications Engineer

Applications Engineers develop concepts and proposals for custom automated test systems that support Cincinnati Test Systems’ growth objectives. Working closely with the sales team, this role serves as the primary technical resource during the proposal process by helping customers identify practical solutions for their testing needs.

Your Day-to-Day

• Work with the sales team to develop solutions based on customer requirements.

What You Bring to the Team
