Bosch Rexroth in Lincolnshire, IL, seeks an Applications Engineer to partner with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to develop hydraulic solutions that meet application requirements. You will evaluate customer needs, select and integrate products, and design hydraulic systems and integrated circuits, providing engineering support throughout the product lifecycle.
The role requires 3+ years in hydraulics, strong ability to read hydraulic schematics, and excellent communication.

The Applications Engineer serves as a technical partner to customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to develop hydraulic solutions that meet application requirements. This role is responsible for evaluating customer needs, selecting and integrating appropriate products, designing hydraulic systems and integrated circuits, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing engineering support throughout the product lifecycle. The successful candidate will combine strong hydraulic systems knowledge with excellent customer relationships and problem-solving skills.

This position operates in a combination of office, laboratory, manufacturing, and customer field environments. The employee may occasionally be exposed to moving mechanical equipment, varying temperatures, and moderate to loud noise levels during testing or customer support activities.
TravelAbility and willingness to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, as required.
Compensation range: $100,000 USD - $111,000 USD annually
