Applications Engineer | Full TimePrint-O-Stat is seeking a responsible and technically knowledgeable Applications Engineer to join our team in York, PA. In this role, you will support our sales team by serving as a technical resource for clients, helping to understand their business needs and identify appropriate software solutions.You will provide technical support, software training, and guidance on industry-specific workflows while working closely with clients and the sales team to demonstrate the value of technology solutions within their organizations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with customers, solving technical challenges, and sharing their knowledge with others.What You'll Do:Deliver certified training courses on Autodesk products, including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Forma, and related applications, to individuals and groups in both in-person and virtual settingsDevelop and maintain training curricula aligned with Autodesk training materials and certification objectivesCustomize training content to address industry-specific workflows and customer needsEvaluate trainee progress and provide appropriate completion or certification documentationMaintain training lab and classroom environments, including software installations, licensing, and hardware readinessSupport new client onboarding through structured training and learning programsProvide technical support by telephone, email, and virtual platforms for supported software productsTroubleshoot software-related issues, including error messages, software performance issues, licensing concerns, and hardware recommendationsRemain current on product enhancements, software developments, and relevant industry trendsWork closely with the sales team to understand customer challenges and identify technology solutions that address their business needsAssist clients in understanding software capabilities and applying technology to their existing workflowsParticipate in software demonstrations and provide technical guidance throughout the sales processTravel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region as needed to support clients and training activitiesWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experienceProven experience implementing and utilizing Revit or Civil 3D in a professional production environmentWorking knowledge of Autodesk products used within Architecture, Engineering, and Construction environmentsExperience with Revit or Civil 3D required; knowledge of Forma Design Collaboration and Navisworks is a plusExperience developing Revit templates, customizing settings and families, or working with Revit Architectural, Structural, or MEP workflows is a plusFor Civil 3D candidates, experience developing custom company templates, Dynamo scripts, data shortcuts, grading, pipe networks, corridors, or related workflowsGeneral understanding of Autodesk Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) applicationsStrong understanding of the Windows operating system and Microsoft Office SuiteAutodesk Professional Certification preferred, or ability to obtain applicable certification within the first 90 daysPrevious classroom, corporate training, or technical instruction experience preferredExcellent presentation and speaking skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearlyExceptional listening skills with the ability to understand customer questions and provide valuable solutionsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including during live software demonstrationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skillsPatience and adaptability when working with individuals of varying experience levelsAbility to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a teamAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlinesComfortable teaching and presenting in both in-person and virtual environmentsAbility to travel throughout the Mid-Atlantic region as neededWhy Join Us:Work directly with clients and help organizations improve their technology workflowsDevelop expertise across leading Autodesk products and industry applicationsOpportunity to combine technical knowledge, customer service, training, and sales supportProfessional development and opportunities to expand your technical expertiseFlexible paid time off
