Zelisko GmbH is a subsidiary of the Knorr-Bremse GmbH specialized in energy, traffic engineering, and ticket printers. Wouldn’t it be great to play an active part in shaping the future of mobility? For our location in Mödling, we are looking for an Applications Electrical Engineer.

With its Energy, Signaling Systems, and Traffic Management Systems divisions, Zelisko is a company very much in tune with the times. By providing essential measurements for the supply and transmission of electrical energy, power management components such as current or voltage transformers and sensors ultimately help to support the energy transition.

We are seeking an Applications Electrical Engineer to work with our sales team on projects for the Zelisko Energy group.

Essential Functions

  • Defines project scope and objectives
  • Implements assigned projects
  • Interfaces with all project stakeholders
  • Conducts project meetings and tracks project progress
  • Adheres to the respective departmental delivery processes, procedures, work instructions, forms, and templates
  • Directs interface with customers - verbally and written - to deliver quality services and handle customer expectations
  • Maintains appropriate databases for recording new and existing customer information
  • Supports the sales team in planning and executing projects
  • Coordinates any special activities requested by the client, e.g., workshops tailored to their workforce

Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering

Experience:

  • Must have contacts with testing institutes and experience with UL approvals of electrotechnical components would be an advantage.
  • Sustainable know-how in power engineering.
  • Experience in type testing of medium or high voltage devices.
  • Good understanding of the US electrical power generation and distribution market.
  • You have a solid understanding of electrical power generation, especially Instrument Transformers.
  • Very good communication and strong negotiation skills.
  • Toughness and strong self-motivation and self-organization.
  • Willingness to travel
