Job summary

Meissner Filtration Products is seeking an Applications Drafter to generate specifications for custom single-use systems used in the biopharmaceutical industry. You will assist in quotations and ensure smooth transfer of approved designs to manufacturing in a fast-paced on-site environment at the MAARC facility in San Luis Obispo, CA.

The role requires sharp attention to detail and experience with AutoCAD and MS Office (Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Generates product specification prints for single-use systems via AutoCAD per Instructions from Applications Engineering.

• Transfers approved specifications to production environment.
• Assists in the quotation process for custom single-use systems.

How you will make an impact:

As an Applications Drafter on the Applications team you will generate specifications for custom single-use systems utilized within the biopharmaceutical industry. You will also assist in the quotation process thereof and transfer of approved designs to the manufacturing environment.

• Generates product specification prints for single-use systems via the use of specially configured AutoCAD software package per instruction from Applications Engineering department.
• Ensures coordinated approach to product design consistent with customer requirements and best practices.
• Handles modifications of existing single-use systems designs per defined workflow.
• Facilitates the transfer of approved specifications to the production environment.
• Assists in the quotation process of custom single-use systems.

This is an on-site role based out of our MAARC facility in San Luis Obispo, CA.

The skills and experience you’ll need:

• Excellent attention to detail
• Specific proficiency with MS Office products including Excel and Outlook
• AutoCAD experience

The base pay scale for this role is what Meissner reasonably expects to pay for the position although actual pay may vary from this scale depending on an applicant's experience.
