Job summary

Meissner in San Luis Obispo, CA, is seeking an Applications Drafter to generate specifications for custom single-use systems in the biopharmaceutical industry. You will work closely with the Applications Engineering department using AutoCAD to create detailed product specifications and assist in the quotation process.

The ideal candidate must have excellent attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook, and experience in AutoCAD. This role is on-site at our MAARC facility with comprehensive medical benefits and unique perks.

How you will make an impact:

As an Applications Drafter on the Applications team you will generate specifications for custom single-use systems utilized within the biopharmaceutical industry. You will also assist in the quotation process thereof and transfer of approved designs to the manufacturing environment.

• Generates product specification prints for single-use systems via the use of specially configured AutoCAD software package per instruction from Applications Engineering department.
• Ensures coordinated approach to product design consistent with customer requirements and best practices.
• Handles modifications of existing single-use systems designs per defined workflow.
• Facilitates the transfer of approved specifications to the production environment.
• Assists in the quotation process of custom single-use systems.

This is an on-site role based out of our MAARC facility in San Luis Obispo, CA.
