The Applications Development Technology Lead is a senior-level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities

1. Partner with management teams to ensure integration of functions to meet goals and identify system enhancements for new products and process improvements.
2. Resolve high-impact problems/projects through evaluation of business processes, system processes, and industry standards.
3. Provide expertise in applications programming and ensure design adherence to architecture blueprints.
4. Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation based on system flow knowledge.
5. Understand how business areas like architecture and infrastructure integrate to meet goals.
6. Analyze issues and develop innovative solutions with interpretive thinking.
7. Serve as advisor or coach to developers and analysts, managing work allocation.
8. Assess risks in business decisions, ensuring compliance, ethical conduct, and transparency in control issues.

Qualifications

1. 6-10 years of experience in Apps Development or systems analysis.
2. Extensive experience in system analysis and software application programming.
3. Successful project management and implementation experience.
4. Subject Matter Expert in at least one Applications Development area.
5. Ability to adapt priorities quickly.
6. Leadership and project management skills demonstrated.
7. Clear communication skills.
8. 5-10 years of experience with Ab Initio tools (Metadata>Hub, Express>It, etc.).
9. 2-3 years of experience with Big Data Platforms (Hive, Hadoop, pyspark, etc.).

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
