Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location. The role focuses on designing, building, and validating ETL solutions using Ab Initio, Oracle, Unix, and scripting languages.

You will lead development, performance tuning, and testing activities, and drive the migration of applications from Ab Initio to Python. A hybrid schedule within commuting distance is possible with Citi policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in a related IT field
• Five years of experience in IT/related occupation with Ab Initio, Unix and SQL
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing ETL solutions
• Adherence to industry SDLC guidelines
• Experience migrating applications from Ab Initio to Python

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Tech Lead Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties

Create, proof, and implement technical designs and develop Abinitio graphs. Conduct plans to extract, transform, and load ETL data from various sources based on the business requirements. Maintain up to date documentation and rely on extensive knowledge of Abinitio, Oracle, Unix, and scripting languages to design applications and solutions. Execute engineering design and development activities in support of automated processing of corporate action events occurring in markets across the globe. Build and test these applications using test cases and test plans to carry out testing and verification activities. Develop utilities and data processing services as well as associated back-end database structures to ensure scalable, well-monitored, and stable operations. Design and implement engineering best practices covering performance tuning, automated testing, and monitoring solutions. Execute end of vendor software upgrades and disaster recovery. Ensure effective and repeatable processes exist to build, package, and deploy code from development, testing, and subsequent production deployment. Engage with and work alongside business analysts and stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide engineering level support to the business. Develop strategic plans to migrate the applications from Ab initio to the Python platform. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Big Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation developing applications. Five (5) years of experience must include: Designing, developing, and implementing code to meet business requirements using technologies including Ab Initio, Unix, and SQL; Performing application development and ensuring adherence to industry standard SDLC guidelines; Building jobs using Python Data Integration jobs and enhancing framework adhering to ETL standards; Designing and delivering ETL solutions focused on expanding and maintaining a centralized reference data platform; Developing Ab Initio graphs and plans using Graphical Development Environment (GDE) and Co-Op with continuous and batch processing along with Data Quality checks applied; and Scheduling and troubleshooting Autosys jobs to ensure correct and complete continuous production system function. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, and three (3) years of experience. Employer will accept pre- or post- Master’s degree experience.

Wage Range: $157,851.00 to $190,000.00
