RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Requirement gathering, designing, developing, testing, implementing, and supporting systems and processes related to EDI (Electronic Data Interchange).
  • This position will work primarily on supporting business process, integrations and systems as it relates to EDI.
  • Assist with support, maintenance, configuration and upgrades as it relates to those technologies.
  • Focus on understanding business processes and learning tools and/or technologies related to EDI.
  • Configures trading partner setups for EDI and creates mapping (FMD/MRS) documents.
  • Work with Mapping and Communication protocols.
  • Work on incidents, troubleshoot complex EDI failures, engage with external EDI partners and internal business users.
  • Off hours and on-call support will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • 5+ years of EDI knowledge on transactions in retail/manufacturing/consumer goods domain and familiar with EDI B2B model.
  • Expertise in EDI & B2B process along with EDI standards including batch and real-time transactions (e.g., 850, 855, 810, 856, 997, 943, 944, 940, 945, 846, 204, 210, 214, 990).
  • Experience in configuring trading partner setups for EDI and creating mapping (FMD/MRS) documents.
  • Well-versed and experienced in supporting EDI environment.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience managing tasks and working cross-functionally with peers to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills with initiative.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to learn different business processes and technologies.
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred:

  • IBM iSeries experience.
  • Knowledge of Mainframe JCL.
  • Experience reading and writing Cobol.
  • Experience reading and writing SQL.
  • Exposure and experience with Oracle Cloud or similar Cloud Computing is a plus.
  • Experience with Open Text Tool.

The base hiring pay range for this role is between $85,000-$118,800 per year, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
