Job summary

Franklin Electric Co. in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Applications Developer II to design and build customer-facing web and mobile solutions on the Azure cloud using React/Angular. You will join the DCX team in an Agile environment, delivering reliable, scalable applications with emphasis on automation and quality.

Key duties include developing and testing applications, integrating systems, troubleshooting issues with customers and technical teams, and continuously improving the user experience.

Qualifications

• Education and experience: Bachelor’s degree (preferred) and 3-5 years related experience.
• Proficient in .NET, C#, JavaScript (React/Angular), SQL Server, web services, and multi‑tier architectures.

The Application Developer will join our Digital Customer Experience (DCX) team, helping design and build customer-facing web and mobile solutions. This role develops modern applications for the Azure cloud using platform services (PaaS), serverless technologies, and frameworks such as React and Angular to create intuitive, high-quality digital experiences.

Working within an Agile environment, the Application Developer will help deliver reliable, scalable solutions with a strong focus on automation, quality, and continuous improvement.

What you need:

• Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, related degree, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of related experience (required).
• Computer Skills
  • .NET development (preferably C# experience)
  • JavaScript (React and/or Angular preferred),
  • Microsoft SQL Server, knowledge of webservices, n-tier architecture.
