MOVE FORWARD WITH US

What you will be doing:

  • Strategic Roadmap & Portfolio Management: You aren’t just maintaining software; you are the architect of the 3-year Engineering Program Roadmap. This involves meeting with stakeholders to prioritize projects, forecasting spend, and creating a strategic plan that aligns technology standards across the entire corporation.
  • End-to-End Project Leadership: You own the lifecycle of software solutions. This goes beyond basic task management to include defining budgets, eliciting functional requirements, documenting test plans, and conducting "tollgate reviews" for stakeholders to ensure projects stay on time and under budget.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: As the lead for a team of PLM Business Analysts, you act as a coach. Your role includes technical oversight (assigning and directing work) and professional development (performance appraisals, career coaching, and goal setting) to keep the team motivated and aligned with IT leadership.
  • Operational Excellence & Service Delivery: You are responsible for the health of the engineering tech stack. This involves managing high-level incident resolution in ServiceNow, performing root cause analysis to prevent recurring bugs, and ensuring all system changes meet SOX compliance and enterprise standards.
  • Vendor & Budget Governance: You serve as the primary point of contact for external partners. This includes negotiating vendor contracts, approving purchase orders, and managing capital appropriations (CAPEX) for new technology investments.

Who we want:

If you are a self-motivated and collaborative individual who is passionate about making a positive impact, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

  • Dedicated achievers. People who thrive in a fast-paced environment and will stop at nothing to ensure a project is complete and meets regulations and expectations.
  • Effective communicators. People who can interpret information clearly and accurately to concisely communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders.

What you need:

  • Educational Foundation: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Information Systems (or equivalent high-level work experience).
  • PLM & CAD Technical Expertise: Significant experience with PTC Windchill (PLM) and PTC Creo (CAD), or very similar enterprise-level engineering platforms.
  • Strategic Planning & Roadmapping: Proven ability to develop a long-term technology vision, including managing a 3-year project roadmap, forecasting budgets, and performing cost/benefit analyses.
  • Project & Portfolio Leadership: Experience leading technical projects through a formal development process, including requirement gathering, testing validation, and presenting "tollgate" reviews to stakeholders.
  • Team Management: Demonstrated experience supervising a team (such as Business Analysts), including performance management, career coaching, and workload distribution.

Don’t feel like you check all the boxes? Here at Franklin Electric, we are dedicated to building a diverse and inclusive culture which includes embracing candidates from a variety of different backgrounds and industries.
