General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking an Applications Delivery Network Systems Administrator to advance our customers' mission through enterprise IT solutions.

You will help ensure the health, capacity, and reliability of ADN services and load balancing across on-premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. In this role, you will monitor performance, troubleshoot network issues, and contribute to optimization efforts while developing clear documentation and employing automation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application delivery and network administration.
• Experience administering, configuring, and maintaining application delivery network (ADN) systems and technologies.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

As an Applications Delivery Network Systems Administrator, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the customers' mission. You will play a crucial role in delivering advanced solutions and strategic insight to optimize the customers' enterprise environment.

Perform day-to-day system administration tasks to ensure the health, capacity, and reliability of application delivery network and load balancing systems. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot any issues related to application delivery services or network configurations. Assist with evaluating and recommending network optimization and application acceleration techniques to enhance system efficiency. Support application delivery and load balancing systems in on-premises, hybrid, and cloud-based environments, ensuring proper integration and functionality. Utilize advanced tools and analytics to identify and resolve system or network issues impacting application delivery performance. Develop and maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and workflows associated with application delivery system administration. Employ automation and orchestration tools to streamline configuration management, monitoring, and maintenance tasks for application delivery systems.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field. Experience may be substituted for education.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in application delivery and network administration.
• Comprehensive experience in administering, configuring, and maintaining application delivery network (ADN) systems and technologies.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS) essential for application delivery, load balancing mechanisms, and adherence to security best practices in system administration.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., F5 Certified Tech Expert/Specialist, Citrix Certified Associate/Professional in AppsDS, Citrix NetScaler, Azure/AWS Admin) are preferred.

• Location: Onsite
• Required: DoD 8140 IAT II compliant

Salary

The likely salary range for this position is $124,093 - $166,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
