A national staffing firm is seeking an Applications Architect/Designer for a prominent Pharmaceutical client. This remote position involves overseeing system integration activities, working closely with project managers, and ensuring designs meet business requirements. Candidates must demonstrate experience with SAS environments and possess a strong understanding of integration architectures, GXP standards, and identity management protocols.

Qualifications

Overview

The Fountain Group is a national staffing firm seeking an Applications Architect/Designer for a prominent Pharmaceutical client. This position is Remote.

Job Description
  • Pay: $80.00-86.00/hr on W2.
  • No C2C please.
  • Contract position budgeted through 2024 with the potential for extension or conversion.
  • Will oversee system integration activities and design solutions.
  • Work with a PM to ensure technical delivery.
  • Must have knowledge of technical workstreams, architecture knowledge and design, GXP standards.
  • SAS Studio and Medidata EDC system nice to have but not required.
  • Ability to translate business requirements and architecture designs into system designs; ability to track project activities and track progress to business value realization, escalating where necessary, hands-on experience configuring, validating, and supporting Documentum, eTMF, clinical data management systems, and drug safety systems.
  • The primary responsibility will be to integrate the two SAS environment into one (On-Prem Windows SAS to SAS Studio in AWS).
  • Define the access, security model for SAS and Medidata environment.
  • Good understanding of Clinical Study domain Pharma/Biotech is nice to have, but not required.
  • Good understanding of Identity and Access Management protocols and technologies: OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, Federation, SSO such as OKTA.
  • Knowledge of various integration architectures and protocols: API Gateway, SOA, REST, XML, sFTP, MFT, WSDL, and SOAP.
