NewGen Technologies is seeking an Applications Architect to oversee a distributed enterprise application platform in a cloud environment. The role emphasizes monitoring, security, and operational excellence across SDLC-driven deployments.

With a focus on AI code conversion, data migration to the cloud, and maintaining runbooks and audit records, the ideal candidate will interface with customers and coordinate cross-functional teams to sustain high availability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Top Secret Clearance is required.
• 10 years of experience as a Solutions Architect.
• 1 year of experience with AI code conversion.
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with data migration from on-premises environments to the cloud.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application health, system performance, alerts, and logs to ensure operational availability.

The Applications Architect will support the day-to-day operation, monitoring, and maintenance of a distributed enterprise application platform hosted in a cloud environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor application health, system performance, alerts, and logs to ensure operational availability
• Administer user accounts, permissions, security roles, and access requests
• Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues and coordinate resolutions with development and engineering teams
• Support software deployments, patching, maintenance activities, and system upgrades
• Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, SOPs, and audit/compliance records

Requirements

• Top Secret Clearance
• 10 years of experience as a Solutions Architect
• 1 year of experience with AI code conversion
• Experience with all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with data migration from on-premises environments to the cloud
• Experience with hybrid multi-target architecture and operating models
• AWS certification
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to interface effectively with customers

Desired Skills
