Position Overview

Oversees design, implementation, and maintenance of administrative, financial, or clinical applications. Responsible for requirements definition, documentation, testing, troubleshooting, upgrades, and report development. Coaches customers and IS management on product use and direction. Assists in managing vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain event set hierarchy, aliasing orders/results/documentation, Provider Message Center, FHIR document integration, XR Reporting, and building Facilities/Clinics within Cerner.
• Be available for 24/7 on-call support, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with rotation based on department needs.
• Contribute to departmental goals, participate in onboarding, and support project activities.
• Monitor and test system performance, recommend operational changes, and coordinate software updates and vendor resources.
• Develop support documentation, reports, and facilitate training for users.
• Redesign business processes to leverage new technology, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
• Manage application databases, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate problem resolution.
• Lead project management activities, develop project documentation, and ensure quality standards.
• Coordinate training plans, serve as liaison between application and technical teams, and participate in community outreach and quality improvement teams.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of technical experience, preferably in healthcare or business environment.
• Experience in systems analysis, programming, customer service, vendor management, and project management.

Licenses and Certifications

• Continuing education to maintain professional licensure as required.

• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in desktop applications, project management, and communication.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and understanding of information systems impact.

This position offers a salary range of $80,995 - $152,027.
