We are currently seeking a result-driven candidate with a passion for product development. The candidate should drive application development, innovative formulation, process, and evaluation across various product segments. Attention to detail and the ability to learn new skills are essential.

You will thrive as part of a team of motivated people, be collaborative, yet also comfortable working independently. Customer focus, quality, and an entrepreneurial mindset are critical for this position. This is a part-time role, requiring 24 hours of work per week.

What you will do:

1. Develop new product ideas and meet customer requirements using our portfolio of flavours, colours, and natural extracts across various food segments.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer briefs.
3. Develop solutions for projects, diagnose issues, and communicate results to customers.
4. Innovate, develop, and prepare prototypes for presentation to key customers.
5. Lead production and scale-up trials.
6. Support the sales team and participate in customer presentations and innovation workshops.
7. Continuously seek ways to better serve our customers.

What you will bring:

1. Bachelor’s degree in food technology, food science, or an equivalent qualification.
2. 1-2 years of experience in the food industry.
3. Direct experience in product development is highly desirable but not essential.
